Marina's Day


A Letter from Foster Family, Anya and Andrei Goryainov who live in Mulberry’s Dyetski Dom


“Today is a special day for our family and we know you will join us as we celebrate Marina’s day. Four years ago she came home. Since she was born she travelled between several Simferopol hospitals. But on this day four years ago she had her first trip NOT to a hospital. You made this possible for her. May God our Father reward you generously!’

“We praise the Lord for this wonderful child and ask Him to give us wisdom as we care for her and help her become an adult. Thank you for your prayers. Just wanted to share. The more we are with these kids, the more we appreciate you and your ministry.”

The Goryainov’s have nine children in their care (two are their biological children). Without the support of Mulberry International and donations from people like you, seven of the children would be in a state orphanage. They would be neglected and most likely abused. If they were among the lucky few to actually reach the age of 15 or 16 and “age out” of the system, they would be released with no support system and no preparation for life on their own.

These are healthy, happy kids with a future. And, the support provided for this family is $2070 per month



Dyetski Dom. A history of building families.

We have acquired a building in Evpatoria, but it is in dire need of renovation. As our team steps through the apartments we see potential in these spaces. Look past the buildings with us, to see children that are currently being abused on the street or in a state home… healed and running around these renovated homes… free to grow, free to know love and safety, free to have a future. See with us the family in the living room, reading about Christ, young eyes full of wonder and hope. The opportunity is massive. These are lives that can be completely remolded to the image of Christ while they’re in the critical formative years. They can go on and continue to spread the love of God as they grow up into productive adults, knowing the salvation of God and the love of His Church. Without support however, the impact we can make is a fraction of the need. Children on the streets and in state facilities of the Ukraine exist in utter hopelessness. They know the coming day will be filled with anxiety, insecurity and danger. They believe life has abandoned them and they have little chance of recovery. Without the help of people like us, they are sadly correct. If you can manage any gift at all, it could exponentially change the life of a child. All we need to transform these buildings of brick and mortar into homes of love and safety is financial support. Mulberry’s success is the commitment to consistently building in to the locals a vision for the Ukraine that is full of the love of Christ and His provision. It’s by this that we know this will be a lasting work and good ground for your seed. It won’t happen overnight but as the families see the unconditional love and compassion of your gifts, the ingrained culture of apathy will be transformed from within. In a place where destitution abounds, Mulberry International is beginning to shine like a light set on a hill.

There is more work to be done to renovate the Dyetski Dom building. There is valuable unused space. We have the manpower to make it happen — we just need the financial resources.
